Are you a talented consultant with back-end skills and a strong interest in working with cloud services? Do you thrive in a leading and executing role in transformation projects, where you help our clients with the technical aspects so they can make better decisions based on data?
If you are ready to stay ahead of new technology and want to be among the best, then you could be the star we are looking for at Inspari!
Your role
in Inspari
You will become part of a team of consultants consisting of Data Engineers, Business Consultants, and Project Managers at various levels, each with their own areas of expertise.
We work in fixed teams, which provides great opportunities to build close collegial relationships. We collaborate on projects and prioritize teamwork and communication. It is enjoyable and rewarding to be part of a unit where we have a strong sense of belonging to both the close-knit group and the larger Inspari.
Our project portfolio spans a wide range of industries and varied project types. What unites these projects is our clients' common goal of achieving a deeper understanding of data usage. We are experts in demonstrating and conveying how our clients can realize the value of their data investments.
Areas of responsibility
and tasks
As an experienced consultant and Senior Data Engineer at Inspari, your role includes:
- Exercising professional leadership and taking responsibility through all phases of the project, from the initial analysis and design to the final implementation and subsequent follow-up
- Acting as a valuable sparring partner for our clients, where you will advise and guide through dialogue, client visits, and conducting workshops
- Handling tasks within Data Engineering, including ETL processes (Extract, Load & Transform), SQL & Python programming, and data modeling
- Working concurrently with multiple clients and actively contributing to identifying new business opportunities as well as supporting pre-sales activities
- Taking responsibility for your own budget and ensuring its fulfillment, as well as contributing to engaging and employing team members. This includes planning, organizing, and following up on the team's tasks and activities
- Evaluating and estimating the scope of technical tasks within the project team
- Ensuring that the project team meets the established standards, methodologies, quality assurance procedures, and best practices
Your
qualifications
We expect that you have:
- In-depth knowledge of data warehouse solutions and experience with ETL processes
- Strong skills in SQL and other programming languages such as Python or similar
- The ability to develop maintainable and efficient code
- Experience in developing and optimizing large and complex data pipelines
- Strong skills in data modeling and back-end development
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and possibly familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or others.
Additionally, we may wish for you to have the following skills:
- Possess a natural flair for quickly acquiring new technologies and tools, which is crucial in an ever-evolving industry
- Have strong analytical skills to navigate and understand complex data flows, structures, and data models, which is at the core of effective data management
- Exhibit excellent communication skills that make you a reliable advisor and sparring partner for our clients and your team
You will gain a very broad knowledge of many different things, but you also have the opportunity, if there is something that is super exciting, to dive deep and become highly specialized in it. This is clearly one of the most important aspects for me in a workplace.
